Dr. Ernest Rehnke’s proud daughter, Elizabeth Rehnke received an award on her father’s behalf. Being a dedicated MD, he received Distinguished Surgeons Award in the year of 1999 on 13th February. He was awarded for his sacrifice and compromises that he had to make in order to help and care the people of the underprivileged countries. He and his daughter went on for several tours to different disadvantaged regions.
She was only an 11 year old kid, when she first walked with her dad to the podium and talked about her feelings towards her father’s well deeds. She expressed how she feels when she gets to help those poor and underprivileged people and take care of them. She appreciated the honour of being awarded and also expressed that how proud she feels when she goes on this kind of medical missions.
Liz Rehnke and her father went on to five different medical missions including one mission in Ecuador, Haiti and Honduras and two in Guatemala. Not only that, in the interest of the culture of different regions and due to her knack towards travelling, she always accompanied her dad to various deprived countries and helped the poor citizens of that nation.
She also travelled to Cambodia, Kenya, Vietnam and many more underdeveloped countries, where illiteracy, epidemics and famines are common thing and poverty was widespread. In order to make their country and the citizens’ better human beings in every possible way, Elizabeth Rehnke influenced and convinced many philanthropists and NGOs to make nursing homes and schools. She aided financially to provide care and recovery from injury for free and make people literate by teaching them for free.
In the holidays, unlike every other small girl instead of enjoying her vacations, she used to travel with her father and help those poor people and take care of them. Liz Rehnke has a strong wish that more and more professionals will come up with a helping hand for people, who need aid in the deserted continents.
The works she does along with her father is not at all a piece of cake and had to cross many hurdles so as to provide help to the people with desperate needs. They suffer from malnutrition, hygiene issues, poor health and sometimes life threatening diseases. Liz’s work is brought to the notice of many people and they too take part in the programs to provide all possible assistance.

Not just the usual suspects to affect our teeth, even healthy foods can cause cavities, and others can help protect our teeth, gum disease and bad breath.
Here are some suggestions to your diet to improve your dental health (dental).
Eating carbohydrates at lunch time
or even French fries wheat bread can be just as harmful to teeth and gums as a chocolate chip cookie. Carbohydrates are broken down into simple sugars that are converted by bacteria plaque, a sticky residue that is the main cause of gum disease and cavities. Carbohydrate-based foods like bread and crackers tend to have a sticky texture that makes it easier to be trapped between teeth and gums where bacteria accumulates.
As I recommend eating these carbohydrates by the food and not as a treat when you eat large amounts of food, it produces saliva which helps to eliminate this waste of the mouth.
Drink tea
Black tea and Green contain polyphenols, antioxidant plant compound n that prevent plaque to stick to your teeth and helps reduce the chances for tooth decay or gum disease. Tea also has the potential to reduce bad breath by inhibiting the growth of bacteria that cause it. Many teas also contain fluoride, which helps prevent the enamel of the teeth fall out.
Take a straw
Most sodas, sports drinks and juices contain acids such as citric or phosphoric that can weaken the enamel of the teeth, even if they are diet or sugar-free versions. By taking these drinks with a straw placed more towards the inside of the mouth limits the tooth contact with these acids and helps preserve the enamel.
Increase your intake of vitamin C.
Vitamin C is the cement that holds together all our cells and is important for healthy gum tissue. People who consumed less than 60mg per day of vitamin C (8 ounces of orange juice contain more than 80mg) were 25% more likely to have a gum disease than those taking 180mg or more, according to a study by the University New York at Buffalo.
Consume 800 mg of calcium per day
People consuming these amounts of calcium are less likely to develop gum disease. The reason is that 99% of calcium in the body is in bones and teeth. The calcium found in foods such as cheese, milk and yogurt strengthens the alveolar bone in the jaw that helps to keep teeth in place. The recommended intake is 1,000 mg per day for women under 50 and 1,200 mg for adults.
The power of cheese
If you can not brush after drinking a soda or soda or something sweet eat a piece of cheddar cheese. Studies have shown that cheese helps reduce tooth decay, due in part to neutralize the acid that damages teeth.
Three amazing fighters caries:
* Xylitol – the sweetener found in some chewing gums have been shown in several studies that fight tooth decay.

Julian, a school teacher, told me that one day his feelings were hurt by the sincerity of the children in school. Prof, your teeth are yellow! He told one when Julian smiled. That comment, although it seems harmlessly honest, pretty complexed Julian. He did not understand why, if you routinely brushed their teeth and using dental floss, your teeth are not white had had one day.
When visiting the dentist, his surprise was to learn that most are just some foods and beverages that contribute to stain teeth and cause them to lose their whiteness. But what are these foods and drinks? Look at this list and keep in mind that if you consume daily, you should take precautions and measures to prevent stains on your teeth:
Café. If you are someone who can not take your wake up without coffee in the morning, do not forget to brush your teeth after you take it. You can also mix it with milk or drinking through a straw, straw or straw.
Tea. Despite being a drink that brings health benefits, stains on the teeth, even more than coffee. No matter if you like black tea, white or green. All can cause you blemishes.
Vino. It has always been the red wine which has a bad reputation when it comes to stain teeth. But because it is an acidic beverage with many molecules of pigment, white wine can also cause staining.
Carbonated beverages. If you love soft drinks (soft drinks, soda), think that every time that takes, you’re not only helping your teeth lose its color and streaking, but also to damage tooth enamel and cavities appear on your teeth. If you can not avoid the temptation of these beverages, take them with straw, straw or straw to minimize their effect and rinse after the take.
Soy sauce (soy). Always present in Asian cooking, this sauce gives a delicious taste, should be used sparingly if you want your teeth to remain white. Soy sauce contains strong bleaching agents that are left on the teeth.
Sports drinks. If you love sport, I suggest that you stay hydrated / a with water. Designed for sports drinks contain acids that eat away tooth enamel and create a perfect environment for the spots.
If you want to preserve the whiteness of your teeth, consider what are the drinks that stain your teeth to restrict their consumption. The brush your teeth after drinking them, using straw (straw or straw), and wear a proper oral health routine can help prevent the spots appear.
